Like & Share invites the audience to embark on a journey with two teenage best friends, Lisa and Sarah, as they create sensual food ASMR videos in hopes of launching their influencer career on YouTube. However, as they delve deeper into the world of online fame, they discover some darker side of the world wide web as well. Lisa gets a bit obsessed with porn, while Sarah’s relationship with an older man causes tension. As the situation becomes more ominous, they find out that they have to rely on their strong bond of friendship to overcome the toxic environment and reclaim their autonomy.

Like & Share is a bold drama that explores the complex issues of sexuality, identity, and friendship among Indonesian teenagers. Directed by Gina S. Noer, one of the most acclaimed and versatile filmmakers in Indonesia, with dynamic editing and vibrant color palette, the film forms a strong criticism against the dark sides of social media, such as dubious amateur pornography, cyber bullying, and the harsh challenges of teenage life in dealing with it all.

GINA S. NOER
Gina S. Noer is a filmmaker and writer from Indonesia. She started her career as a screenwriter in 2004, and has written scripts for several successful and acclaimed films, such as Ayat-Ayat Cinta (2008) and Habibie & Ainun (2012). She made her directorial debut with Two Blue Stripes in 2019, which became a box office hit and won several awards at film festivals.
